Day 24: Drive back to Lake Powell with a random stop in Kanab, UT for the night
Today we left the Grand Canyon. Our Desert view campground was nicer than I expected. It was nice and peaceful and even without electric we were able to stay cool enough to get a good nights rest. Today we weren't sure where we should go. We are heading towards Yellowstone and will stop in Park City, UT for a couple days. I did a good chunk of driving today until we got to Page, AZ again. We looked into kayaking Antelope Canyon, but it wasn't available. We decided to go to a different part of Lake Powell and go swimming. It was much more secluded and less beachlike, but we had a great time. The water felt so nice compared to the 109℉!! We tried running the generator to cool the back of the camper off as we drove, but it kept shutting off. The error code had lots of options for what could be wrong, but one option is that it got too hot (120℉) which is probably completely accurate.
